What this covers

These terms apply to all nuttig: apps. Currently, that's nuttig:clothing and nuttig:convert. Future nuttig: apps fall under these terms unless their App Store listing says otherwise. By using a nuttig: app, you agree to these terms.

What the apps do

Each nuttig: app provides reference information drawn from public sources: nuttig:clothing uses official brand size charts to translate sizes between brands; nuttig:convert uses standard unit-conversion data to convert between length, weight, volume, temperature, and other units. The reference data is bundled into each app and works offline.

Use the apps as a guide, not a guarantee

Recommendations are estimates. Brands update their sizing without telling us. Conversion factors can vary by context (a US cup is not a metric cup). We make reasonable efforts to keep the bundled data accurate, but:

• we can't guarantee any recommendation reflects the most current source
• we can't guarantee perfect fit or perfect equivalence
• we can't guarantee the apps will be error-free

Always verify with the official brand chart, the official conversion source, or whatever authoritative reference applies before you make a purchase, sign a contract, or do anything else where being wrong costs you money or time.

You're responsible for your own decisions made using the apps' output, and any costs that come from them (returns, exchanges, refused parcels, ill-fitting purchases, miscalibrated recipes).

No warranties

The apps are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that recommendations will be accurate, that the apps will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they'll meet your specific needs.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any claim arising from your use of an app is limited to what you paid for that app at the time of purchase. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including return shipping, refused returns abroad, the time you spent picking out clothes that didn't fit, or recipes that didn't turn out.

Use each app as a useful tool, not a contract.

Intellectual property

The apps' design, code, algorithms, and curated reference databases (size charts, conversion tables, country-specific notes) are owned by Ashby and protected by copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property laws.

Brand names, country names, and unit names are used for reference purposes only. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the brands referenced in nuttig:clothing or any standards body referenced in nuttig:convert.

Purchase and refunds

Each nuttig: app is a one-time purchase processed through Apple's App Store at the price shown on the App Store at the time of purchase. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no recurring charges.

Apple handles all transactions. Refunds are managed by Apple under their refund policy. We never see or store your payment information. For refund requests, contact Apple directly.

App Store EULA

Your use of each app is also subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store apps, which governs the technical aspects of using software bought through the App Store.

Acceptable use

Use the apps for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the apps
• extract or redistribute the bundled reference data
• use the apps for any illegal or unauthorised purpose

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll update this page. Continued use of the apps after a change means you accept the new terms. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, where Ashby is based. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Dutch law.
